Ideas?

Post by Mahamotorworks » Tue May 27, 2008 10:27 pm

I have an idea for a postal match and would like some more input about it.

It is the "25 cents shoot".

Take a quarter and place it at 50 yards and shoot it once with a .22. The most centered shot wins. The only problem that I can see with this is recovering the quarter after shooting it. We did this at Boy Scout Summer Camp one year, we didn't find some of the quarters.

I have thought about Scanning a Quarter, then printing it for the target.

Any ideas?

Why use a quarter? Why not a dime?

Seriously... A silver dollar. Scan it, print it, shoot it.

I like this idea ... Here are some links to pictures / scans of FL quarters ... Your going to have to adjust the size so its correct when you create a PDF ...

I believe I saw somewhere on http://rimfirecentral.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; targets that were pictures of coins. I wish I had the .pdf that I could send you but the computer it was on is TU. Hope you can find them.

Edit: Here's the direct link. http://www.rimfirecentral.com/targets/u ... arters.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. Sorry it sometimes takes time for me to get this 'puter stuff straight. Other neat targets there too.

dime would be fun as well.
