It's a coordinated attack from many directions. Just look at the pre-emption. They want to make it impossible to carry. Of course, the criminals, by definition, won't lock the weapon, unloaded, in a case in the trunk. Will the "authorities" be as interested in protecting the disarmed innocent as in harvesting fines?
