Said good bye to a nice 53 Fazakerly to get the Irish.
At least it went to a 9/53 birthdate guy and gun was 9/53.
Were they building Enfields in 10/49?

In the days of the old west a 6 shooter was as common as cell phones are today and just annoying if they go off in a theater.

Red Dawn.
which was a tip-of-the-hat to "The longest Day."
I know that John has a long mustache was one of the code phrases used by the radio to the French resistance.

Quote " Anybody have a 1949 Swiss K-31? "

Sorry.... according to " Swiss Magazine Loading Rifles 1869 to 1958 " from North Cape Publications, Mine was made in 1954. You are looking for Ser# range. 921,301 to 936,800. Last time i was up at Gander Mtn. on Northlake in Lake Park, they had about a dozen K31's to look thru with both beech and walnut stocks.... Good Luck!... Jim
"Try never to run out of smokes, ammo and luck all at the same time. But remember, if you have ammo, you can always get more smokes, and make your own luck."—G.K. Shirpa
