Why would we ask him to honor the $599 price when we are already getting the guns, shipping, and machine work for almost $100 less?

The numbers look great. I'm in. I want to make sure we get all on the same page for the logistics tho for time frame, payments, transfers, Form 4, etc.

Ok im guessing you guys arnt picking up what im putting down .... I saying ask him to honor the $518 price as a GB price since it wouldnt be that far off his regular price and then Molivo wouldnt have to worry about asking his guy to drop ship and what not

.... it made since in my mind when i wrote it

I know what you meant. Not a bad idea, if it's possible. I'd still have to go the original way with sending in the 870, but that's ok.

well, for one thing, it's going to cost more in the long run that way because you'll have to pay sales tax on the entire amount. Plus, don't know if he gets the same deal from his distributor as Matt is getting us.
Then there's wakkoss with his gun. :ham'r

I honestly don't know that he'd go for it, and I personally wouldn't want to do the hydroprint part of it if we went that way. Sounds like a good way to make it more of a PITA to me.

This is not a democracy - this is FSN. [smilie=pdt_xtremez_30.gif] /:f

If it's a PITA for the folks who're putting together the GB then fughettaboutit. [smilie=pdt_xtremez_12.gif]

Let's lock this in - but please be understanding of the effects of the economy and allow a reasonable amount of time for folks to get their $$ sent in (maybe 30 - 45 days? :-k). Some of us may need to sell something to fund this. =:bye

I'm waiting to hear back from Matt to see how he wants to handle the funds for the base guns before I post it, but I've got a draft of the group buy post started.

Waiting a bit is OK for folks to come up with the moolah, but I'm not sure if a month is too long. I know some are itching to get this going, but if it's a deal breaker I understand totally. I'm going to have to scrape some together myself.

What if we made the due date something like the 12th of August? That's 3 weeks from tomorrow. That should give plenty of time for them to be done and transferred to Thermo by the middle of september, then it's just waiting on the Form 4s to come back. You ought to be able to have it in hand by Halloween I'd guess.

Anyone else want to chime in?

If we can piece meal them in, I'll send mine to him right away to get going. Did he say how long it takes him to make each weapon?

turn time from him should be week to week-and-a-half. I don't know that he wants to do them other than in a batch. I know you're antsy, so let me see.

My shipper is waiting on my directions on where to send, so even if he doesn't start the work right away on it, I'd still like to send it in. I'm patient (as we all have to be in the NFA world, of course), but anxious about leaving the shotgun at the seller's place for too long. Worse comes to worse I'll just send it here, but that's an additional $40.
