Sweet! Is that yours? I've heard it mentioned a few times on subguns.com. Do you have a pic with the stock mounted?

For those who want more info on the 93R shown above, the owner posted in a thread on another board -- http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b ... 544&page=1 -- the following info:

I don't mind sharing that I originally bought it for $25,000 and was offered $120,000 for it last year. While it does have the tri-burst mechanism, the purpose of making it out of titanium was so that the mechanism can be removed (the mechanism resides under the right grip), allowing it to fire in full auto, without the fear of the frame bending. Boatman and Bixler were concerned that full auto fire out of the aluminum frame would cause it to bend or malform.

And yes, the registered owner also owns a registered Colt prototype full-auto 1911A1. (do we have a green with envy icon?) He's really into machine pistols.

I knew who the owner was, I just didn't know if Osprey21 might have been him and if so why he was hanging out on a Florida forum. :ber

The Archangel is the only one cleared, the rest are still awaiting the stamp from the slow moving folks at the ATF, The M42000 should be approved soon.

My purpose built SBR, nothing special really. Rail on the front accomodates the light and the VFG. I still need a front sight of course.

I'm waiting for a new buffer from Grant before I shoot it.

* It is covered in cat hair. I'm surprised it doesn't show in the pictures.
** I realize the sling is on upside down.

Curious as to what this fires and how it fires?

Single shot I would assume?

Yes, single shot, .22LR.

The rear of the body unscrews allowing it to be retracted, cocking the weapon - it's fired by depressing the serrated lever on the body. There is a rotating band behind the barrel that acts as a safety blocking the 'trigger' from being depressed.
