ATF expeedites apps for deploying military members

I've never served so I don't know how common place this knowledge is.

Assuming it's not, I think this deserves a sticky for future service personnel who might find their way to FSN. /:f :ber
Wanted to share something with everyone cause I believe that it is worth mentioning here. If you are on active duty or your are a reservist/national guardsman and you have orders IN HAND to deploy in the next 6 months the BATFE has an internal policy that they will provide expedited NFA processing for your Form 1 or Form 4.
Every department in the US government has internal workings that are controlled by directives and policy memoranda. BATFE is no different. And one of those policies is this expedited NFA processing for deployments for military service members.
You must send in your military deployment orders and it must be reviewed by a supervisor and your examiner. They will then have it done MUCH quicker. Have seen it done in just a few weeks in some quicker cases.
Wanted everyone to know!!

In the days of the old west a 6 shooter was as common as cell phones are today and just annoying if they go off in a theater.
