Responsible Person Questionnaire for Individual?

Post by Jonathanw » Tue Apr 10, 2018 3:10 pm

I’m filing a Form 4 with a local dealer and he told to me to come back tomorrow to sign the Responsible persons form(his printer ran out and has to get more ink).he told me that every person filing a form 4 regardless of trust or individual has to fill out the Responsible Persons form

I thought a person filing as an individual didn’t need to file that as they are not separate from a trust or legal entity. Anyone know if this is new rules or my dealer is getting faulty info ?

find a new dealer ...lol

Individual doesn't require an RPQ, thats for each person on a trust

you really should be buying NFA items from some shop that knows the process, nothing like waiting months to find your dealer screwed something up ](*,)
In the days of the old west a 6 shooter was as common as cell phones are today and just annoying if they go off in a theater.

He was selling a bunch of suppressors on a rack. I assumed he’d know how to do a Form 4 as an individual #-o

I tried telling him but He wasn’t having it

I already gave him all my information, I’m not sure if I can back out now. I’ll try to review the paperwork before it’s sent to the ATF

You have to sign it ...I'd read everything and make sure it's correct

I signed my parts, and made sure my alien number is put down as well. I’m hoping if he includes the extra RP documents, ATF will just ignore them as they are not needed

Where did you check all the yes, no boxes ??

For an individual they are done on the F4

For a trust they are done on each RPQ ??

Doing that wrong or not doing it where needed will get it kicked out
