Black Aces Tactical Po'Boy $200 AR suppressor
I just clicked on the link from Soldier Systems talking about this and was surprised nobody here had chimed in.
Here's the link:
http://soldiersystems.net/2017/05/12/bl ... m=facebook
a sub $200 AR suppressor which is user serviceable and uses a standard AR stock wrench sound pretty good to me. I just wish I were in a position to get one right now. If it's as good as they're claiming, it'll be the first thing on my list for when I start working again.
Has anyone here tried one of these yet? I got the impression it's new enough nobody has been able to buy one yet, but it seems to be available through their website already. If anyone has had an early preview of these, I'm sure it would be someone on this board so does anyone want to chime in?

In the days of the old west a 6 shooter was as common as cell phones are today and just annoying if they go off in a theater.

I'll admit, it did remind me of the whole $200 SilentRx .22 cal can that turned out to be a scam a couple of years ago, but if this company is based out of Florida I was hoping someone here had been in on the testing process.

Rebel offers a $99 can...but more and more are turing up with baffle strikes ...I bought one to see what they are like, but I will not sell or recommend them....
I bored out my endcap even larger than the manufacturer did for safety...but the general consensus has been " I can believe someone would buy the bottom of the line and then pay for a stamp on top of that."
First round pop so loud that it shouldn't be taxed...lol![He He [smilie=011.gif]](./images/smilies/011.gif)

I'm thinking this is one of those deals that you get what you pay for

Yeah, me too, but fortunately I'd used a CC so I got my $$ back. Still sucked. I wonder how many people never got their money back.

I wasn’t able to go to this years NFA review shoot.
Anyone here demo it and see if how effective at decibel reduction it was?
I’ve been considering going down the suppressor road. Sbrs, fostech triggers. Only thing left that’s financially feasible is suppressors.

From what I remembered they didn't demo it....it was chained to the table and you couldn't take it apart.
Since that tease....pics have surfaced on the net...it's nothing but spacers and fender washers ( explains why it's so heavy ) ....but no sound tests....it would be like muffler testing on a garbage truck of you ask me.
You get what you pay for ...if I can find the pics I'll post.
