SquareSpace website builder?

Post by JonathanW »

Has anyone tried this to build their website?

I’m going to be registering my company soon and trying to find a simple but good website host/builder.

Thank you

If you don't have experience WIX is probably the easiest.

Keep in mind, if you're using a website builder of a host, you are likely married to that host. Your site will likely not be portable.

Also, be wary of your domain ownership, hosts used to ransom those back to you if you ever decided to leave (though I hear much less of that now).

What Taco said.

You're young and smart, you should look into learning to do it yourself.

I did a couple years ago using just information that I picked up on tutorials and youtube videos.

They were pretty basic and things have changed a little bit since then, but you should be able to handle it.

Then after you get the basics down, you own it and you can make any changes you want or move it anywhere you want.

Wordpress and the Elementor plugin is a very good option.
