Here's my Remington 870 magnum just after I finished putting it together after paint. It was a police trade in.

(here's two of our four Sears/JC Higgins 12 gauge model 10's. And yes, they are the evil ones that were recalled years ago (cuz some numb-nutz back in the 60's didn't check the bolt screw which had come loose and slammed himself in the face with it)..... [smilie=011.gif]

(this one is pretty much all original, except for the stock refinishing I just did)

(and this one was a rusted p.o.s.---so I cut the barrel down, removed all the blueing and just polished up the raw metal)

Thanks, I did it myself.. 2 base coats of flat grey primer. Hobby sponged flat matte white, light blue, burgundy & black (in that order) and went back over with some grey primer in some areas to open it up. Covered it with 2 coats of flat matte clear. I put an additional 2 coats on the underside to help with the charging handle wear. About $28 dollars at Wallyworld.. I had the sponge.

Finally finished my Remington 1100. It had a 28" barrel and I had it cut down to 19" and added a +2 extension. People thought I was crazy for doing this. Then I sent it to George roghaar in boca and he parkerized it for me. It came out real nice. Still got a couple minor things to do to it.
