Is that a 3rd mag extension? Was thinking about getting one of those over the Spx model. Have you had any issues with yours? Thanks.

No its a 2 round, a 3 round takes the extension about 1" past the muzzle. Because of Mossbergs misleading round count of what the 930 holds, I did order the 3 round 1st and had to send it back.

To help you out, this might be more info then you were looking for about the extension, but... At 1st I had problems with last round feeding and 1st round not getting past the shell stop.

The tube comes with a plastic follower, a spring and barrel clamp.

*I never used the barrel clamp.
*I did try the spring and follower.
*The spring, after many tries, many cuts, the spring was just to strong, it would "kink" up in the tube and the plastic follower would get stuck (shifted in the tube?). I couldn't find the right length of the spring for the perfect operation, to long by one coil, it would have to much pressure on the 1st round against the shell stop so that round wouldn't release to be loaded, to short by one coil and the last round wouldn't feed, just weird.
*The follower... Well it just got all messed up while I was trying to get the spring to work correctly.

In the end, all I used was the tube, the stock spring and stock follower and it functions 100% every time... Dumb me, all that playing around, "then" I look on the net and found out what I did in the end was the same thing Mossberg does, tube or no tube from the factory, they use the same spring, same follower.

The gun... It shoots everything, I loaded up the tube with #7 1/2 field load, #6, #00 and a slug all at once, it empty the tube with no malfunctions at all.
