Mag fed Mossberg

Saw this on Jeff Quinn’s YouTube channel, Gunblast, where he posted several videos covering SHOT Show.
Was wondering what took so long to see a mag-fed scattergun. I prefer the extended tube myself; that mossmag is bulky and probably adds noticeable weight to the firearm, affecting handling. However, switching loads quickly is a definite advantage with additional magazines.
Just a guess, but I suspect this was a result of LE requesting a shotgun in this format.

Yeah, that is a very large mag, but to be expected with a 12 gauge.
The overall weight shouldn't be more than a long tube mag full of ammo, though.
And the location of the magazine, right under the action, should help with handling and balance, too.
It should be popular with the action shooting folks at 3gun and steel matches.
Plus all the folks who will buy it for the cool factor.
