Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore has them preorder $389.00

Anybody here have one yet?
I've been thinking about getting one but learned recently that Remington is coming out with one too built on 870. I'd prefer 870 action so I'll get that instead.

Saw 4 dealers with Shockwaves at the Orlando show today, starting at $375 (new). It seems OK, supposedly built on the 590 frame although the trigger guard looks like plastic. Only position I could see myself shooting it would be from the hip (with a laser), or very carefully in front at arms length (no slugs).

I'd lean the 870 way myself, just seems to be a better looking firearm to me while the performance of the two are likely very similar.

I have a mossberg 500 with a original cop stop grip w/wire shoulder stock that is 28 inches folded. I don't see where 2 " would be worth it plus the hassle of people thing it was a sawed off shotgun
