Picked up this two tone Sig from a fellow member.
The the original owner had the frame re-finished a silver color.

I had a local gunsmith re-finish once again in a Cerakote color called Burnt Bronze.

while its technically a pistol, you gotta love how they conceal in a tennis racquet case [smilie=pdt_xtremez_30.gif]

In the days of the old west a 6 shooter was as common as cell phones are today and just annoying if they go off in a theater.

1st up is my newly crafted .40S&W 1911. Designed for USPSA SS competition, it is an STI frame, fitted with C&S ignition parts, Wilson thumb safety, STI grip safety (pinned down), Wilson Lightweight trigger, Wilson two-piece guide rod, EGW mag catch, Kart barrel, EGW firing pin retainer, McLearn firing pin, STI extractor and ejector, Kensight bomar-pattern rear sight, Dawson Precision front FO sight, hand-cut 30lpi front strap checkering, flat-top slide with matte texture on flat surrounded by French border, custom cocking serrations, VZ OpsII grips, and a Techwell magwell. Finished in FDE GunKote. Runs like a fine Swiss watch.

Second up is an STI Trojan refinished in Gunkote flat black, with a Kart Barrel and bushing, Wilson trigger, C&S ignition parts, EGW firing pin retainer, McLearn firing pin, Wilson full length two-piece guide rod, Dawson FOfront sight. Decided to customize a new carry gun...started life as a new-in-box Colt LW Commander, as such:

Below is the finished product. Please excuse the oily mess...I tend to dump a bit much after cleaning.
