Wasn't there a no cross forum link rule? Eh whatever it was good info.

I like that the new aftermarket a continue with the metal feed lips, it's a proven design.

I often wonder if they modeled the metal lips into the 5.56 pmag would it take that mag from say 30-000rnd life span to 100000?

I'll probably buy some magpul 19 mags at some point. The oem mags are great but taking the baseplate off sucks.

I'm still leery of the magpul mags for the glocks because of the initial issue they had. That being said I do wonder if the vickers base plates would fit on the magpul glock mags.

You know, it was on the front page of GT so I didn't even think about it, just viewed it as an article more than a forum posting, which it is.

Thank you for the info.
I thought our only option was the Korean POS.

Still no love for the 45 and 10mm. Maybe they will come later.

The guys with the Kriss Super V snag up all the SGM 45 hi caps, no problems what so ever

FYI--Midway is running a free shipping special on Magpul orders of $25 dollars or more. So I just ordered two of the Glock 19 mags for a total delivered price of $30.30 ($15.15 each), supposedly here next Tuesday.

Seems like a cheap enough way to try them out.

The G17 mags are also in this promo (don't have a G17 myself).

Picked up a few g17 mags for $11.99 from primary arms a few weeks ago. Haven't used them but they look good.
