I traded for a Walther PPQ M2 in Tungstun Grey earlier this week. Have to say I'm quite impressed with this firearm. The trigger is the best I've experienced on any striker-fired pistol I've shot. And I like the ergonomics of the grip as well as the subtle grooves and checkering. Put a couple of hundred rounds through it the same day and it was simply smooth and accurate. Reset was exceptionally short so the follow up shots were fast.

Overall very satisfied with it.

My Walther is the best striker fired pistol I've shot. I prefer the paddle release, too. At a $400 price point with the rebate, it is also one of the cheapest.

I was at the WPB show today & came this close to buying a PPQ with the preferred (for me) paddle mag release. The only thing that stopped me was that my wife was with me this time. #-o

I had that version and sold it to get the M2.
It was a huge mistake!
The M2's mag release had my thumb constantly hitting it while shooting.
I would like to get an M1 again!

One of my partners just sold his M1 for $500.

I came close to trading for the 5 inch version but decided the M2 I have is enough (for now).

It's a shame that the paddle mag release isn't a more common feature on pistols. Once you train yourself to use it, the superiority of the design shines.
