Talk about resurrecting an old post........
Anyway, I've been very curious about the 77/357 and have had it on my wish list for just over a year.
I finally ordered one and picked it up yesterday.
Installed a scope on it today, an older Nikon Monarch 3-9 BDC I have had in the parts cabinet for several years now.
I would have rather kept this rifle scope-less but my eyes are such that I cannot very well see the front brass bead sight which happens to be very small. (the sight isn't small, but the brass bead thingy is.)
I'm looking forward to trying this one out.

Yeah I hear you.
I have a couple hundred .357 reloads from when I owned a Thompson Center Contender w/ a 10" .357 BBL.
It was the 2nd gun I ever owned.
I shouldn't have sold that gun but I'm getting off topic here.
.357 is an awesome round, you can load light or heavy, many options, according to my Hornady reloading handbook the bullet options are 110, 125, 140, 158, 180 grain bullets.
.357 is good to go. [smilie=pdt_xtremez_30.gif]
Not as punishing as .44 mag but still a manly round !!!! [smilie=011.gif]

My Grandson blew a hog UP with a .357 soft point in a Rossi lever gun!

A heart shot inexplicably did a 90 degree vertical detour and turned about 3" of spine behind the shoulder into MUSH!

Shut Mr Piggy down like flipping a switch.

I'm going to have to crono that bad boy one day!
Late mergers should be shot in the face, then set on fire and hung from an overpass. /:f
