Magpul PRS-2 adjustable stock (manventureoutpost had a decent price, the original stock was always too short for me anyway) I tried to make it fit the Cetme endplate but went with a g3 endplate in the end.
G3 recoil spring, buffer and endplate. (had to dremel the endplate's bottom weld seam to make it a bit thinner and square out the bent lip of the trigger pack for a proper fit. I could have modified just one or the other but decided to remove a little of both instead.)
UTG forearm
MFI Low Profile Scope mount (had to take about 0.75 mm of the clamps)
Millett 1-4x24 illuminated scope
Harris bipod

While the UTG forearm is heavier than some of the higherend models, the weight seems to balance the rifle better on the bench. will have to see how it does beyond 100yd.

What was the change on the weight with all the new add-ons? Thought about doing something similar on an HK91, but don't want to heft a 20lb rifle around at a 3-gun match.

it is heavy, no doubt...I have not put it on a scale.
It started out with a Stanag claw mount, rings and lowend bushnell 6-24x scope when I bought it from a friend. With the original wood furniture.

My guess is the new scope mount parts, scope probably come out even.
the bi-pod is pretty light.
the UTG rail is what really kills it with close to 27 ounces. if you go with the maco rail, it is under 13 oz, but cost $320. The Command Arms one is i think in the middle around 16oz at $220. There is also the ptr-91 rail, not sure how heavy that is but you need to buy the mounting rails extra, pushing the price right up there again.
UTG was $50 on sale. Dropping 180 for the magpul stock was enough for this stage of the project.
The magpul stock probably adds a little weight but the G3 buffer screw is 1/3 of the size from the original one.

If the proper length stock and the new scope add considerable fun factor at the range, i will consider pulling the UTG off. I will have had some time to play with different grips, afg, mounting locations, etc. and maybe swap it out with something more practical.

Weight and cost aside, I had visualized the project with the hefty look of a full length rail (contrasting to the slim wooden original). In its current setup, it is probably more suited for laying on a roof, shooting zombies than any 3-gun matches ;)

*edit: before someone jumps on this, weight references based on general shipping/product description, not actual specs.

Before you get your hopes up of taking killshots from 1000 meters, better get it out to the range and see what it'll do at 100. If it's like most Cetmes it'll shoot 3-4" @ 100 yards.

That said I like it. I like the bare bones wood better (they don't call it el chopo for nothing).... but I like it. Aaaaaaaaaand if it's not accurate enough for ya trade it for a PTR91.

First purchase I made when I decided to get into the HK91/Cetme/PTR91 world . . . $50 worth of mags from CTD back when they were $0.97 apiece. I think fully loading all the mags would be more of a capital investment than the gun. ](*,)

A PTR was the first thing I ordered when gov't announced a potential ban.
Picked it up a few days ago...
I have not had a chance to take it out yet. If shooting both rifles turns into a worthwhile story, I will post back.
