Just took a few more of one I brought home in 1970. VC carved stock. I have never fired it but mechanically it is still good.

I finally was able to finish one of the ak's. It is a romanian 10/63 nothing special. The top rail and wire stock was thanks to captain steinbrenner on here. The grip is from mi and so is the handguard. Now i will be doing the same to the drako but in fde and a sbr out of it in the near future.

Here's my Chinese pre-banned Clayco Sports under folder which came with blackish/olive green colored bakelite or fiberglass type furniture, oil bottle, sling, 3 mags and bayonet together with my 1954 Russian made SKS from Izhevsk arsenal.

Took about a pound of wood off the stock and did not like the blond finish. That is 6 coats of Ebony finish rubbed in and the wood just soaks it up.. Could not achieve the total black finish.
