CZ 527 thoughts?

Post by Gregh181 » Mon Feb 19, 2018 12:44 am

Been thinking about picking up a CZ 527. Reviews on it make it seem to be very accurate and high quality. Anyone ever have one or shoot one?

.223 or .300 Blackout or 7.62x39??

I had the .223 Lux with was really nice. Now I have the 527 suppressor ready in 7.62x39. No problems with either one. The only thing with 7.62x39 is the bullet drop after 100 yards..at 200 it's like 7ish inches if I recall, have to google the chart.

Holy hell I might need to re-evaluate if drop is that much for the round at 100 yards and out

Yeah, I zero'd it at 100 then went to 200 and was way off. I can't find the chart I looked at, look up the trajectory chart on google.

Ideally you would wanna zero it for 100 yds, for regular Wolf or Tulammo, but that bullet will drop almost 7 inches from 100 to 200 yds , its over 2 foot drop at 300 yds ..... what were you thinking it was :-k , or did you not know ??

Bullet drop is fine as long as its consistent...

Ruger has the American chambered in 7.62x39 also, about $200 cheaper, and takes mini-thirty mags.

Truthfully did not know. Was assuming accurate out to 300 yards

I didn't know it dropped like that. I think it drops like 80" at 600 yards. I never shot AKs more that 100 yards. I was quite shocked shooting at 200 (a different range day), thought I jacked the scope or something...after 3 range trips of frustration I thought about the drop. Now I'm dialed in at 100 yards and POA/POI shift with the suppressor is pretty much the same as my .223 suppressed bolt gun. I haven't gotten back to the 200 yet to find my exact drop.

Yeah I wasn't trying to put you down 7.62x39 is an awesome round from yards 2 thru 80 and also when lobbed into the next village that's about it .....lol
