Compared to the lesser Amend 2 and like Hex mags ??

I found some Gen 2 P-Mags for $9.90 with flat rate shipping so I ordered 20 just in case.

I'll stick with P-Mags which I can find at any gun show for $10. No shipping charges, & instant gratification. GARY

I like my P-Mags just fine, but the cheapest I have found them on the net was $8.99 each if I bought ten or more. So for $7.99 a piece for the FDE Troys delivered to my door with no parking charge entrance charge or sales tax, I am willing to give them a go. God bless America /:f _: :ber

Troy mags are crap. Son in law bought three thinking he got a good deal, he didn't. None of them would run.

Palmetto State Armory has the D&H mags at $8.99 or $7.99 for 20+, Quantico Tactical has Gen2 Pmags at 5 for $50.

Always buy the best mag., which includes any you have good experiences with. Mag lips are one of the gremlin points with any autoloader, pistol or rifle. I use P mag or C products for metal mags.

I ran four of the ten Troy mags with several types of ammo including my hand loads. They were used in two different home built PSA lowers and two different PSA complete uppers. The Troy magazines ran fine without any issues, fully loaded on a closed bolt required additional oomph to lock in place but that is not uncommon. And on and an aside those D&H mags are now $6.99 each @ PSA

I know this is an older thread, but my Troy mags look cool and run great with 223/556, they even came with a nice thingy to attach to the base-plate. I have been getting hiccups with the troy and also magpul mags with 300 BO. Lancer and GI mags seem to be trouble free with everything including 300 BO. My two cents have now been added..
