Shipping from Palmetto State Armory

Post by MARKAR » Thu Sep 01, 2016 1:25 pm

I just ordered a Premium BCG from PSA. Can someone confirm whether a signature is required for delivery or not? I don't see that statement anywhere on their website FAQs.

I forgot to mention that it was a BCG + ammo deal. Supposedly the ammo is the signature required part. Well, from what I hear they take so long to make their shipments that I'll have enough time to figure out an alternative. I've ordered ammo from a number of places and never had that requirement before. Must be a PSA not a UPS deal.

Their shipping is slow. I know for sure they require a signature when you purchase an ar upper. For everything else i never had the signature problem

Slow is an understatement....but no, never asked for a signature for ammo etc.
They do send tracking when they ship.

Well they are saying order complete on something co-employee ordered. And he hasn't received it yet, hasn't got a tracking number yet either. PSA's new order system must be giving them a challenge and trying to get them on the phone is impossible.

I don't know about PSA but sgammo has an option for signature for a couple bucks more. Well, worth the piece of mind!

ive never had to sign for ammo or BCG's from PSA. ive ordered ammo from the 3-4 times, and atleast 3 BCG's. Only thing I have ever had to sign for was an upper, and you can log into UPS and waive the signature before it gets to your house. That's what I usually do.

Or get it sent to a ups store around your house and they sign for it and you pick it up when ever [smilie=011.gif]

Best $15/mo. I've ever spent. No more waiting for UPS/FedEx or worrying about packages "left at the door".

Also make's the Sheriff's job harder when trying to contact me. =:bye

Just as a follow up closing. Last Friday, UPS just dropped off the BCG and 120rds of .223 from PSA on my porch like they always do.

Ordered an upper last Friday and it will be here tomorrow per the tracking, better than the last time which took at least 2 weeks.

I ordered a 9mm lower on 9/16 and it shows as completed with only a shipping label created. I ordered a 9 mm upper the same day and it was delivered on 9/23.

I got a great deal so I'm not going to worry about the slow shipping on the lower.

If you sign up for a UPS account you can sign online for the delivery. I did this last Friday for my upper and didn't have to sign for it.
