Primary Arms 1-6 Optic

Post by Gregh181 » Sat Aug 27, 2016 10:25 pm

Just ordered a Primary Arms 1-6 optic. Interested to see if anyone else has one and how they like it. I bought it soley for the reticle they created. It looks very practical

I bought a Bobro mount for it as well

It's a decent optic and great for the price, the "range finder" makes the glass to busy for me so I replaced it with a strike eagle and put the primary arms on a suppressed 22

I'm on the fence if I will ever honestly use that range finder
I was originally gonna get a trijicon accupower but I read many reviews that even illuminated in sunlight you can barely see the reticle

Ya I never used it so it just kinda got in the way. Not horrible but it was there and when I used my brothers strike eagle it helped me decide what optic to put on the 22

I have an ACOG that I wouldn't mind replacing with something like this. the ACOG is great, but really for my purposes the constant 4x is kind of overkill.

I guess you ended up not caring for this particular optic in the long run being you are selling it in the BST after only using it 3 times at the range? What did you end up liking and disliking about this scope? I guess you like the scope reticle. True?

Just curious. I have been considering this scope myself.

Seems that way on my end but its not. I had testicular torsion and surgery to correct it last week. Gonna end up missing about 3 weeks of work cause of it. So I'm selling off some of my spare AR parts I dont use all the time.

The reticle itself is very unique. Trijicon has picked up and used it in some of their Acogs as well. Ease of use for the reticle and the hashmark system they use are super simple.

Sorry to hear that Greg. I was looking at the image of the markings and though kind of busy I like the windage and running lead marks. Pretty much has all the info someone could use.
