Never heard of a West Coast Outfitters here in Florida, do you mean West Shore Outfitters near Orlando? Never did a hunt there but heard it is worth the money.

Many of my shooting buddies have discussed a hunt there but it has just been talk so far. Sorry, but I know no one that has used their facility.

I've hunted with the boys at West Shore several times. Great people and big hogs! I shot a 250 lbs. last time.

In fact, every year we take a few clients out there as well. Hard working fellas and won't let you leave empty handed.

I wouldn't hesitate if you're thinking about it. Give em' a call!

Thank you for the reference. I have relatives coming down who are looking for a place to hunt.

Getting ready for a hog hunt with them on June 21st. I prefer to hunt in mid-week, because there are fewer other hunters and we can get the best stands. I’ve got the date booked and they say more hunters won’t be a problem. Gonna start early - 5:30AM.
If anyone’s interested, let me know. I’m in Viera, on the north side of Melbourne.

Well, that was a total waste of time. Neither of us so much as saw or heard a hog.

I know the folks at West Shore aren’t responsible for all the rain we’ve been having, but they are responsible for placing the feeders and the blinds. When you have to wade to the blind (don't forget your rubber boots, people!) and your view is 90% water (no exaggeration) with a feeder that’s right in the middle of it, that’s a bad sign.
It was like sitting in a blind in the Louisiana swamp. Just on the other side of the feeder was a large patch of dry ground, where our “guide” said the hogs like to bed down. If hogs like dry ground, what the hell was I doing looking at acres of water?
This outfit strikes me as a minimum-effort organization. Other than driving us to our blinds through a flooded swamp, our “guide” did nothing productive.

I wish I'd checked the Yelp reviews.

A waste of time and money. I won’t go there again.
