You can't just link to a post on another forum. You have to put the photo on a photo hosting site like Photobucket.

Looks like bear scat to me.

Our family naturalist (educational coordinator for Manatee County Parks & Rec Dept.) agrees. They've been seeing black bears on their game cameras out at Duette Preserve.

You may have bears pooping near your hogs. Hog poop is not usually in a huge pile that's so large that you can't pick it up with two hands. Or, you have some monster hogs.

http://articles.extension.org/pages/636 ... kvFX58o7qA
Scat or droppings of a feral hog can vary widely depending on the material eaten and size of animal that produced it (Figure 4). In general, most are irregularly shaped lumps approximately 1-2 inches thick and 3-9 inches in length. The color may vary from light tan/yellow to black and may have a purplish hue when fresh. Feral hog scat resembles a segmented sausage composed of compacted fecal material.

http://www.crewtrust.org/2015/09/29/wil ... that-scat/
Black Bear scat is a humongous pile, usually full of seeds which the bears don’t digest. Color can vary depending on what the bear has recently eaten. Oval, almond-size seeds are from saw palmetto.

most everyone including the xt serv says bear poop. im probly 5 mi from duette as the crow flies. probly less. and they said that isn't past a bears wandering range esp. following the creek thru there. its kinda cool if it is a bear. they don't eat calfs so having one would be a pretty cool thing to see out working cows
