Coyotes anyone?

Post by draggindakota » Thu Jul 20, 2017 11:05 am

Is anyone familiar with coyote regulations? Looking at the FWC page it says they can be taken year round and a trapping license is needed if using live traps or intending to sell. Not real clear on anything else.

We've had a spate of 'yote sightings in my neighborhood over the last few weeks. The last was 2 of 'em just a couple blocks from my house this morning. Just wondering if it would be legal to pop one if I found it on my property. My yard is completely fenced, but my dogs are in and out all day and 2 of them are little ankle biters. I'm thinking they wouldn't have any issues with my red nose pit hanging out with them, but you never know.
Why would you want to give away any of your rights or freedoms? Just because one jack wagon doesn't have an elevator worth Andre 3000 doesn't mean that I should have my privileges taken away.

The world is coming to an end. Some dude from Lehigh Acres just asked if it's OK to shoot a coyote.

I suggest a suppressed .22 Magnum. [smilie=033.gif]

And a shovel. [smilie=011.gif] [smilie=cheers1.gif]
and some rin up hill and down dale, knapping the chucky stanes to pieces wi' hammers, like sae mony road-makers run daft - they say it is to see how the warld was made!

The four S's Suppress Shoot Shovel & Shut up. [smilie=011.gif]
When people ask me "do your dogs bite?", I tell them of course my dogs bite, all dogs bite. The question should be will your dogs bite me?

Rumor has it that coyotes make good pets.
Just feed them and treat them nice and they get all cuddly and cute.
No need to shoot the poor misunderstood critters, adopt them instead.
Really, I wouldn't kid you.
A liberal will love you for it.
