Re: Hog Hunt
Me and a buddy hunted Chappy's last week. Successful and enjoyable hunt. $250 each for the hunt. $100 ($50 each) for a night in the two-person bunk cabin. Set up on stands before daylight. It was a full moon; we saw one nice hog riding out to the stands but neither of us saw anything once we were on...

Re: Hog Hunt
I will be hunting for the second time at Chappy's in January. 2-person cabin available on-site makes for a pleasant wake-up the morning of your hunt. There's also a guy named Jack Judy near Groveland that many folks recommend on the Florida Hog-Hunting FB group. https://www.facebook.com/groups/46783...

Riparian rights vs. river islands
I understand that in Florida a landowner along a navigable river has riparian rights down to the normal high water mark. I've found a few spots on a couple of different rivers where the property appraiser's GIS map clearly shows both real islands and "islands" that are either partially or ...

Re: Any fossil experts here? (Pic heavy)
I'm pretty familiar with Florida fossils. This does not look like any fossil I've ever seen - tooth or otherwise. I could be wrong, though. Whether or not it's a human made artifact, I can't tell. The folks at the Florida Museum of Natural History in Gainesville or the anthropology/archeology depart...

Re: Good luck Big Bend, North Central FL people!
Inland Sarasota here - just let the dogs out to inspect the damage. So far all I can see in the dark with a flashlight is a few branches down and my backyard chairs tipped over. Minimal standing water. Praying for Cedar Key, Horseshoe Beach, Stienhatchee, and the rest of the Big Bend area. Storm sur...

He's not selling them. He's offering downloads of the 3-D print files.
