I have a Thunder 5, which is the 1980's version and have been eyeing cordless drill holsters. I can't imagine ever actually carrying it cause it's so big and heavy but might try it if open carry ever becomes legal.

Good info & thanks for clarifying. On the other hand, I can understand why the FFL would err on the side of caution. Apparently ALL FFLs are having to put up with a LOT more scrutiny from the political left (ATF etc.) & many are being stripped of their licenses due to minor, clerical errors....

I've been thinking about taming the S&W J Frame a little by going from 158 gn JHP to 148 gn HBWC. My question is do I seat the bullet flush or just a "CH" higher? Also, should I go with a light or heavy crimp? I'll be using W231 or AA#2 or #5 - or maybe try all 3 & see which works ...
