Re: Who carries appendix

Just wish they weren't so expensive. That's a $19.99 item tops. $80 is ridiculous and nothing more than trying to cash in on the Glocktard market.

Re: Who carries appendix

I can disagree because I don't know you, know anything about you nor anything about your testing procedure(s). If you want to blame the holster I'm fine with that. I mentioned OWB and duty holsters as it pertains to the point(s) I've made. Your welcome to your viewpoint on striker-fired pistols. A m...

Re: Who carries appendix

I still have to disagree with your assessment. You weren't there and simply can't know that another type of holster would have prevented this accident. You can can make the assumption that another brand would have worked, but it is only an assumption. Either way it's really a moot point as OWB holst...

Re: Who carries appendix

The term 'Glock leg' is generic. Glock's have a history of going off due to either a finger on the trigger (aka Barney Fife syndrome) or an unintended object in the holster that isn't noticed when the pistol is reholstered. The first I'm aware of comes back in the 80's when a twig was in the holster...

Re: Who carries appendix

That is not the only type of holster in which a striker-fired pistol has discharged without intent. And you are making an assumption that another brand of holster would have made a difference. It is a fact however that a manual thumb safety would have prevented a discharge. A manual safety offers NO...

Re: Extra magazines for semi autos

Kytex Shooting Gear: http://www.kytexgear.com/products-page/pistol-mag-carriers/glock-42-mag-carrier/ By far the best mag carrier I've ever used. I've bought for for an HK P30SK, Glock 26 and Ruger LC9s. Keeps it close to the body with to wiggle or bobble to it at all. Worth every penny. I carry a m...

Re: The Glock thread

Looks like the Glock 45 is coming out i.e. a black 19X with no magwell cut out. I'm sure the Glocktards will be lining up to pre-order it. I'll feel the same way about it as I did the 19X. Only way I'd have one is if you gave it to me.

Re: Are LEO required to respond to an emergency while off duty?

They're not even required to respond when ON duty. Multiple federal courts and the SCOTUS have ruled that Law Enforcement has no duty to protect any citizen . Warren v District of Columbia Lozito v NYPD Castle Rock v Gonzales Barela v City of Denver "...a government and its agencies are under no ge...

Re: Are LEO required to respond to an emergency while off duty?

Depends on the situation. An off duty LEO is at the same tactical disadvantage as Joe Citizen i.e. they don't have body armor and immediate communication for back up or to relay the tactical situation to responding units outside of 911. They probably don't have access to normal on duty tools such as...

One of my G26.4's; https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1840/43964006721_8e8a321e59_z.jpg https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1779/43964007551_19993c1bf2_z.jpg Normally I prefer stock OEM on my weapons with the exception of aftermarket night sights. However, this one was traded for with RYG parts but also had ...
