Re: Some CETME / HK "Build" pics

And a family pic. I might have a few pics of the MP5K during the build process, I'll have to dig. It was, in some ways, a bit more tricky to get everything where it needed to be. Interesting note, I found the scrap receiver portion from the K and it was marked "EN MP5k" , Enfield? Maybe a British SM...

Re: Why all the M1 Garand love?

History..... The M1 Garand Rifle. "The greatest battle implement ever devised." -- General George S. Patton, Jr. Kinda like how a vintage Harley that's heavy, loud and slow can go for stupid money when a Ninja 250r outperforms it in every way for a fraction of the price. I've never had a Garand. Re: Language. Always a tough subject

Wasn't there a profanity filter before the forum wen't down? I thought I remembered seeing that as an option somewhere in the user CP. I personally hate the filters. It just censor 1 word, so what ? It is not the word that counts, but the spirit behind the use of this word. It was my understanding ...

Wasn't there a profanity filter before the forum wen't down? I thought I remembered seeing that as an option somewhere in the user CP. Either way, I'd still consider this place a pretty "tame" place compared to some others. I think its funny that a forum that revolves around people exercising their ...

A thumb safety on a single action cowboy gun is a sin against God Almighty, and the people at Heritage are going straight to Hell!
Yeah, it certainly seems out of place.

I have one though, the 6" with both cylinders. It's a great little plinker for the $$$

Some CETME / HK "Build" pics

Ill start with mentioning that I am a absolute NOVICE with a welder. I really...really am not good with it. Pretty much watched a youtube video, grabbed an inexpensive STICK welder and started screwing around with this kit. Please, for the love of Christ, do not look at this as a guide as to how to ...

Re: Companion Guns: What makes them so appealing? PCC Thread

I've always thought of "companion guns" from a collectors stance.

IE a Makarov with your AK47 , a P38 with your Mauser, a 1911 with your Garand etc
