Re: New ATF rules for dealer transfers at gun shows.

The last thing we need is more “help” from any level of government. New legislation is only more trouble by the time the clowns get through with it (after playing up to whatever mob appears to offer the most votes, a la Scott).

Re: Who carries appendix

The real problem with a Glock is the "half-cock" design. The instant you chamber a round, the striker is partially cocked. The point of that design is reasonable at first glance - constant trigger pull weight. It would seem that the "safety-lever" in the middle of the trigger is the safety. Testing ...

Re: What kind of red-dot?

Yes, I saw that. Originally, I was automatically thinking of 3 moa for accuracy, but then woke up to “a shotgun is different than a rifle” (duh). Yes, 6 moa is better pickup, and 6 inches @ 100 yards is not a problem. I’m glad you mentioned it to get the old wheels turning.

Thanks

If I lived in New Jerseystan or Colorado, I'd be packing my bags and telling the Governor to kiss my ASS!
I did that 21 years ago. Haven’t been there since.

Re: What kind of red-dot?

Thanks. Midway has a $40 gift card with the Vortex, makes the choice a bit easier.

Re: What kind of red-dot?

I use the term red dot as a generic, as they all have red dots. Main issue was whether the open ones, such as the Vortex Venom have advantages over the "closed tube" type. One of my problems is I am farsighted, needing glasses for things which are close; don't want the dot to distort, and don't want...

I've always been willing to go to the CA border with a sledge and a splitting maul, break it loose and push it out.

Re: NOTICE: NEW BST RULES coming soon! Input requested

do we really need to insist that someone selling a box of ammo post a picture of the bullitz? You completely missed my point here. If I HAD seen a picture of the BOX, I would have known that the guy was selling GAME KINGS and advertising them as MATCH KINGS and it would have saved me a bunch of tro...

What kind of red-dot?

I'm thinking of putting a red dot on my Mossberg 930 JM Pro. It comes with just a front fiber and I'm not sure how that will be with slugs. I checked it with a laser boresighter, but that was in the house at maybe 30ft. (was right on at that). Do you think the enclosed type, such as a Bushnell tr-25...

Re: NOTICE: NEW BST RULES coming soon! Input requested

How about no bumping without a price reduction. I see the same items bumped multiple times with a btt. If your item was priced right it would have sold when posted the first time. I disagree.. A 7- or 14-day bump policy is fair. Similar to re-listing on GB without changing your buy-it-now price. Pi...
