Re: Black militia...

OK guys, all kidding around aside, I have a real problem with something here. Take a good look at the guy in the center of this picture: https://thumbnails-photos.amazon.com/v1/thumbnail/e3EM2HAPTEiSWMRgI1Kusw?viewBox=992%2C558&ownerId=A3OBRVGIBQRC1J I got it from this ABC News story: https://ab...

Re: The Lowly Pump Shotgun isn't so Lowly anymore. They are in hot demand & here's the Gunbroker sales.

Unbelievable. Last year I was at the Tamiami fun show and Shoot Straight had a table with a bunch of Mossberg 500 police trade-ins that looked like crap. I took a closer look though and saw that they were actually not in bad shape but had been heavily used and had lost most of their finish and their...

Type 7 is for a manufacturer of firearms, which is not what I'm planning to do. I just want another C&R FFL like I had before.

Filling out 03 FFL info. Who to list as CLEO?

I'd let my 03 FFL expire back in 2016, and only now am considering re-applying for it, and had a few questions. I can't find my copies of how I filled out the form back in 2013 so I don't know who to list as the Chief Law Enforcement Officer in Miami near the Kendall area. I actually don't remember ...

Great post. I also prefer the 1911 over the S&W's. I've only shot the 645 of the S&W's, it was a gorgeous gun. I bought a Para LDA that I could never get running right right, I feel like it was an important branch of the 1911 evolution path as well. https://www.gunsamerica.com/userimages/36...

A friend of mine bought a 1991A1 back in the early 90's. It doesn't suck.

Re: House tenting

The RV thing is a really great idea. I'll keep it in mind if I ever have to tent a house.

Re: House tenting

Slightly off topic, but this thread really reminded me of the scene in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia where they try to go into the building while it's being fumigated to retrieve their World Series tickets, and it does not go well. Here's a vid, it's at about the 1:10 mark. https://www.youtube.c...

Re: Arm braces under fire

This whole brace thing has always seemed like a powder keg to me. They were designed specifically to brace on your forearm for use of a firearm one handed like a pistol, but they looked like a stock and many people used it as a stock. As I understood it, it was legal because it wasn't a stock, and ...
