Re: So...We're allowed to carry in "gun-free" zones now?

I agree with you Racer88. Now lets take that one step further. We The People have a natural right to defend ourselves. IF the LEOs have no duty to perform this then We The People (individuals) must take up this responsibility. That being said no reasonable person would deny that the individual shou...

Re: So...We're allowed to carry in "gun-free" zones now?

this article has nothing to do with Parkland directly but it's hilarious when you read the last line. BSO cops did not enter and engage Cruz & they claimed they had no legal duty to protect, however when they kill someone they claim they did have a duty to protect. well Cruz was a danger to himself...

Re: So...We're allowed to carry in "gun-free" zones now?

Perhaps like the "bar area" in a restaurant (e.g. Chili's)? Never looked into it. I believe that’s only if 50% or more of the restaurant’s income is from liquor. If food sales is more than booze, you’re OK. Sometimes when I go to that type of restaurant, & the gal says there’s a 30 minute wait for ...

Re: So...We're allowed to carry in "gun-free" zones now?

The judge is correct. And, the precedent was set a LONG time ago... multiple times. The "no duty" thing isn't an "agreement." It's legal precedent, set many times by federal courts. Yep.... Multiple federal courts and even the SCOTUS have ruled that the police (nor ANY gov't agency) have NO LEGAL DU...

Re: Scot Peterson argues he didn’t have to intervene in Parkland school shooting, A judge disagrees.

Yep. Peterson is absolutely correct, and he WILL WIN. The precedents are numerous and unanimous. The fact that the police (nor ANY gov't agency) owe citizens NO DUTY to protect them from harm, is THE BEST argument in FAVOR of the 2nd Amendment. The police are NOT "first responders." They are SECONDA...

Re: Why Navy SEALs Hate the FN SCAR 17

Dunno about the 17, but my SCAR-16S has been flawless for thousands of rounds. And, I do mean flawless... not a single rifle malfunction. Though I did have one of the FN magazines fail.

Re: Palm Beach County Shooting Sports Park

The PBSO range just published their 2019 schedule, which goes all the way through December 2019. PBSO is planning to close their range to the public when the new range is opened. Apparently PBSO has reason to believe that the new range WILL NOT be opening any time in 2019. <--- me not holding...

I've been "holding my breath" for close to 8 years on this one.

Shall I keep holding it? ;)

My brother served on the Iowa. His GQ station was loading one of the 16-inch guns.

PS... I served on the USS Independence. :D

Re: 12-pound lunar meteorite

true but lots of planets have moons, Jupiter has 67 and Saturn 62. unless they have samples from all of them to compare they don't know for sure. it could also be from one of the millions of comets running around out there. Don't even need "samples." Spectroscopy can be used to determine the chemic...
